Frank and Annita Kasparian (pictured) were married on Sept. 9. Family and friends were invited to the celebration on Sept. 12 at Lake Englebright Reservoir.
Annita moved from The Netherlands to the United States in 1988 and is planning to become a citizen in the near future.
Frank is a Boston native, and a graduate from the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. He has lived in Nevada County since 1978.
Annita arrived with her son Mike, a CHP officer, by patrol boat from the marina at Englebright. Frank walked down the aisle with his three sons Mike, Ken and Robert.
The wedding ceremony was conducted by the Rev. Belden Johnson from Nevada City.
