Monday

6:18 a.m. — A woman from the 300 block of Marshall Street reported a person possibly was trying to take something from her pickup and fled, leaving behind a gas can and a backpack.

12:24 p.m. — A caller from North Church Street reported teens in a Mustang were “running amuck” and the neighbors were yelling at them.

3:31 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Northstar Place reported vandalism.

4:29 p.m. — A caller from South Auburn Street reported a raised truck with very large tires hit their bumper and fled. The caller followed them as the driver went through several stop signs. No permanent damage was found to the vehicle.

6:59 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 900 block of Sutton Way reported a dog had been left unattended in a room all day, and its barking was bothering guests. The dog was relocated to another room.

7:31 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 100 block of Neal Street reported the theft of shopping carts. It was found to have been a misunderstanding and the person would return the carts.

10:08 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 100 block of South Auburn Street reported a break-in. A juvenile was arrested on suspicion of violating parole, burglary and resisting arrest.

Tuesday

2:26 a.m. — A caller from Highway 20 and Empire Street reported a man climbing up a sign to jump off the bridge. He was found to not be suicidal.

2:43 a.m. — A caller from the 600 block of Walsh Street reported a physical fight involving three or four people. A report was taken for domestic violence.

10:15 a.m. — A woman from the 22000 block of Pheasant Court reported a pickup truck with three men had been in her driveway last night.

10:37 a.m. — A man from the 18000 block of Rollins View Drive reported the theft of trees and wood from his property.

12:02 p.m. — A man from the 18000 block of Hummingbird Drive reported someone painted obscene words on his mailbox.

12:32 p.m. — A man from the 13000 block of Ridge Road reported being the victim of credit card fraud. He said this had happened to him 22 times in the past.

2:30 p.m. — A man from the 22000 block of East Hacienda Drive reported he was receiving numerous phone calls saying he had won money and someone will be arriving at his residence with a check. They were asking for money in return. The suspect was advised to stop calling.

2:42 p.m. — A caller from Highway 20 near Five-Mile House reported two people on dirt bikes driving recklessly on the trail.

4:02 p.m. — A caller from Torrey Pines Drive and Camelia Way reported a man had jumped out of the bushes and was following a juvenile walking home from school. Lake of the Pines security staff were called to the scene.

4:33 p.m. — A man from the 14000 block of Stinson Drive reported a 25-pound casting of a Buddha head was taken from his front yard a week ago.

5:15 p.m. — A woman from the 15000 block of Wolf Mountain Road reported a small “wiener dog” was in her yard and trying to bite her children.

5:57 p.m. — A woman from the 12000 block of Jones Bar Road reported her juvenile son took items from his uncle and was trying to sell them at school. She said he tried to burn the house down the week before.

6:07 p.m. — A man from Penn Valley Drive reported people at the gas station were “mean mugging” them. Words were exchanged and a person pushed the caller. He said he had flipped them off because they were staring at him and his brother. It was found to be mutual combat.

6:26 p.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of Sunny Hill reported a person was playing a very loud stereo. The person might have a scanner. All was quiet when deputies arrived.

7:03 p.m. — A teenage girl from the 12000 block of Lakeshore North reported a possible prowler.

7:54 p.m. — A man from the 19000 block of Tyler Foote Crossing Road reported a confrontation at a business between him and two other people involving a property line dispute. He was advised to obtain a restraining order.

8:10 a.m. — A woman from the 200 block of Church Street reported transients were sleeping on her property near an outdoor fireplace. They were advised to move on.

3:33 p.m. — A CHP officer reported a woman sitting on the overpass at Highway 49 and Broad Street, dangling her legs. She was moving on.

3:54 p.m. — A member of the county jail staff reported someone vandalized a personal vehicle.

11:15 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 300 block of Broad Street reported people smoking marijuana on a back porch patio. The people had prescriptions. They were gone when officers arrived.
