Tootsie Roll drive
Each year, the Knights of Columbus Council No. 1875 hold a fundraising drive to support educational and recreational activities for people with intellectual disabilities in our area.
This includes the Special Olympics of Northern California, Camp ReCreation and special education programs at Mount St. Mary's Academy.
This year, the drive will start today and continue Saturday and Sunday at six local supermarkets, and the Knights thank those stores for their support.
Look for the folks in the yellow aprons — they'll be Knights and their wives — from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. today, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.
Knight Laszlo Privari says, “Thank you on behalf of all the beneficiaries.”
