Tuesday

8:40 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of South Church Street reported two people sleeping in the back of a property.

10:03 a.m. — A woman from the 300 block of Alta Street reported her sister was hit by a vehicle that left the scene.

12:38 p.m. — A caller from Biggs Street near Depot Street reported a tree fell on a house causing minor damage.

4:39 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of French Avenue reported a power line was down in a yard and was sparking.

4:51 p.m. — A caller from Whispering Pines Lane and Centennial Drive reported a branch in the roadway.

5:02 p.m. — A caller from South Church Street reported a tree fell into a power line.

5:18 p.m. — A man from the 300 block of Bennett Street reported his son was yelling and throwing things. He then went to the liquor store.

5:53 p.m. — A caller reported a man involved in drug activity in the North Church Street area.

6:33 p.m. — A caller from Alta and Alta Vista streets reported a tree fell into a power line.

6:41 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of South School Street reported a blown transformer.

Wednesday

1:21 a.m. — A man from the 300 block of North Church Street reported his gate was open and his dog was barking and he suspected an intruder was in the yard.

8:44 a.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Tyler Foote Crossing Road reported the theft of a phone booth from in front of a business.

9:06 a.m. — A woman from the 12000 block of Burma Road reported her boyfriend threw a rock through her window and choked her with his hands.

10:03 a.m. — A report was taken for drugs on campus at Bear River High School.

11:09 am. — A woman from the 12000 block of Sesame Street reported two vases were missing from her residence. She had been away for three weeks, but her husband had been home the whole time.

11:38 a.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Robinhood Drive reported a live wire was down.

12:55 p.m. — A woman from the 15000 block of Rattlesnake Road reported she thought there was a bear in her basement. An Animal Control officer could hear a snoring sound, but no bear was found.

1:35 p.m. — A woman from the 11000 block of North Bloomfield Graniteville Road reported a tree down in the road.

2:57 p.m. — A caller from Highway 49 north of Bear River reported a vehicle spun out in the road.

2:59 p.m. — A woman from the 17000 block of Highway 20 reported a forgery from 2005.

3:11 p.m. — A woman reported taking a credit card for a sale at the Celtic Festival and having the payment rejected.

3:11 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Pine Hill Drive reported identity theft.

3:32 p.m. — A caller from the 18000 block of Purdon Road reported a physical fight. A woman could be heard saying “You put your hands around my throat.” An assault report was taken.

4:39 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Crotty Court reported a tree fell into power lines.

4:40 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Alta Sierra Drive reported a tree down and blocking the road.

4:45 p.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Grass Valley Avenue reported a tree across the road.

4:46 p.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Mayflower Drive reported a tree fell into a house with the power lines down.

5:05 p.m. — A woman from the 14000 block of Flicker Drive reported possible fraudulent use of a credit card.

5:23 p.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Sunset Avenue reported a fire at a neighbor's house.

5:52 p.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Indian Springs Road reported a tree in the road.

6:10 p.m. — A caller from Mooney Flat and Pleasant roads reported two power poles down across the road.

6:11 p.m. — A caller from the 20000 block of New Rome Road reported power lines across a driveway.

6:48 p.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Lake Wildwood Drive reported a transformer on fire.

7:17 p.m. — A caller from Sweetland Road and School Street reported a tree blocking the road.

7:33 p.m. — The CHP reported a man nearly T-boned an officer during a routine traffic stop, then fled on foot into a wooded area at Highway 49 and Allison Ranch Road.

8:19 p.m. — A caller from the 19000 block of Panther Court reported a tree fell into power lines.

10:07 p.m. — A woman from the 17000 block of Retrac Way reported a person kicked her in the head with a steel-toed boot. No assault was found to have occurred.

4:03 p.m. — A caller from the 800 block of Gold Flat Road reported a tree fell into a house and was blocking the road.

4:33 p.m. — A woman from the 200 block of Prospect Street reported hearing a loud bang and a flash of light.
