5th annual Harvest Festival, Pumpkin Patch coming up



Loma Rica Ranch will hold its 5th annual Harvest Festival and Pumpkin Patch in support of Big Brother Big Sisters of Nevada County 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday Oct. 10.

The festival is a family event with proceeds going to “enhance the lives of boys and girls in our community who are in need of that special someone that is a loyal friend and a trusted mentor,” according to a press release from Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for kids ages 11-17 and free for kids 10 and younger. Loma Rica Ranch is located at 10980 Brunswick Rd. in Grass Valley.

There will be organic food, local brews, wine, live music and booths with local artists and craftspeople with free games and activities for kids, a haunted house, corn maze, hay for, zipline, wagon rides and hands-on crafts.
