The classic family favorite 'Wizard of Oz' comes to town

When: 7 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays, 2 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, tonight through Aug. 9. Special preview performance, 7 p.m. tonight, all tickets $5.

Tickets: We are dedicated to making live theater fun and affordable by lowering our prices. Special lower prices are $8 for adults, $5 for children 12 and under, $6 for students and seniors. This famous story has been adapted from Frank Baum's classic, “The Wizard of Oz.” It's modern, witty and full of twists and turns, spinning circles around the original story. Also included are one-liners such as: “The greatest invention since the espresso machine is plastic! I've got ‘em in every shape, size and color! Look out shop owners, Penny Pearl's about to charge!” Spoken by Penny Pearl, the Good Witch of the South, Glinda's (the Good Witch of the North) sister.

The story features the familiar and beloved Oz characters Dorothy, The Lion, Tinman and Scarecrow along with many creative additional characters that keep the story “Movin Along” as depicted in one of it's original songs.

Suitable for family audiences of all ages.
