A Nevada County TweetUp meet-up in Grass Valley Thursday will give people the chance to meet people they follow on Twitter, mingle and learn more about social networking on the Web.
A panel of local social media users will share their knowledge of Twitter and other networking tools for newcomers and experts. Their goal is to help people take the online world into the offline so people can meet face to face.
Paul Smith is a sustainable business consultant and blogger. Vanessa Smith is a wellness coach, speaker and author. Machen MacDonald is a bestselling author, business coach and speaker. Brenda Horton is the owner of Hware, a software company that designs online business planning tools for small businesses, nonprofits and start-ups.
Lots of time is scheduled for questions and answers from the panel.
The event will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 23, at the BriarPatch Co-op Community Room. Food, drinks and prizes will be provided by BriarPatch. The market is at 290 Sierra College Drive, Grass Valley.
