Nina Elizabeth McDugald-Davis died peacefully with her daughters at her side on Saturday, July 18.
Her celebration of life will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 23, at Happy Apple Kitchen.
She was born at home in Electra, Tex., on Oct. 17, 1929. What a joyous day. The family moved to California in 1945. There Nina met and married Robert Davis and raised her family.
In mid-life, the family moved to Grass Valley to live a new dream. She and her husband, Robert Davis, started Century 21 Davis Realty. Both older daughters were married in Grass Valley.
Nina is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Velma and Jack Newman, and her 3 daughters, Conni and Greg Fowler, Lisa and Brent Curtice and Niki Davis.
She was blessed with five grandchildren and spouses and seven great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents, her first husband and one grandson.
She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
Memorial donations can be made in Nina's name to the Gold Country Community Center and Sierra Services for the blind.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper & Weaver Mortuary.
