Jeffrey Todd McManus died July 10 in Nevada City. He was 41.
He was born October 7, 1967, in Nevada City, to Dennis McManus and Linda (Literal) McManus.
He graduated from Grass Valley High School. He married Kristin McManus August 21, 1999. He was a roofing contractor for 25 years.
His hobbies included fishing, hunting, gardening, mechanics and spending time with his family.
He is survived by the mother of his children, Kristin McManus; daughter, Nicole Lee McManus; son, Justin Todd McManus; mother, Linda Undercoffer; step-father, Larry “Pops” Undercoffer, all of Nevada City; sister, Shanna (Chris Sand) McManus and brother, Danny McManus, both of Grass Valley; nieces and nephews Tristan Simons, Daniel Todd McManus, Brandi Lee (Ben Peter) McManus, Tiffany Lee McManus, Brittany Nadine McManus and Jayme Sue McManus.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis J. McManus.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, July 26, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Pioneer Park, Nevada City. The family will provide a picnic lunch. Please bring your smile and stories to share with his family.
Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of the Angels Mortuary and Crematory, Grass Valley.
