Grass Valley Police Department

Wednesday

8:17 a.m. — A man from the 200 block of Maiden Lane reported his methadone is missing.

10:31 a.m. — A woman from the 100 block of Cypress Hill reported a homeless camp. Police found children had set up a fort.

5:21 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Glasson Way reported a man running down the street with shorts and no shoes, possibly with an IV in his arm.

6:58 p.m. — A woman from the 200 block of Race Street reported a man screaming in front of her residence. She said he had defecated in the yard, then put it in a plastic bag and tossed it in the trash.

8:15 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of South School Street reported youths making bike ramps. They were advised to move on.

10:01 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 100 block of Neal Street reported a youth stole Red Bull.

Wednesday

11:05 a.m. —A caller from the 11000 block of Upper Pine Hill Drive reported a garbage truck on fire.

11:38 a.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Highway 174 reported a juvenile attacking a parent.

1:22 p.m. — A woman from the 10000 block of Wolf Drive reported two youths sending threatening text messages.

1:48 p.m. — A woman from Rollins Lake reported medication was stolen while she was camping July 4.

2:14 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Rough and Ready Highway reported mail theft.

4:56 p.m. — A caller from Golden Eagle Way reported an assault to a juvenile on June 21.

5:34 p.m. — A caller from the 23000 block of Sunset Ridge Drive reported a locking gas cap and gasoline were taken from a car during the night.

6:03 p.m. — A caller from Highway 174 and Lakewood Lane reported a vehicle versus bicycle accident with a dispute.

7:08 p.m. — A caller from Pleasant Valley reported someone went through an unlocked vehicle and took items while the caller was fishing.

8:37 p.m. — A caller from the 18000 block of Song Sparrow Court reported a physical fight between a man and a woman.

8:43 p.m. — A caller from Mt. Olive and Dog Bar roads reported a man with a shaved head, piercings and tattoos possibly was hunting from an SUV with a gun. The man was aiming the gun up a hill from inside the SUV. The California Department of Fish and Game was notified.

9:12 p.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of Penna Way reported an assault. The person did not want medical attention.

9:46 p.m. —A caller from the 10000 block of Cedar Avenue reported neighbors were taking pictures and yelling at the caller.

10:09 p.m. — A caller from Lime Kiln Road reported a man in a silver Dodge Ram pickup brandished a handgun. According to Nevada County Undersheriff Richard Kimball, the man had waved an AirSoft pellet gun at another man during a dispute.

The man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, with blood alcohol over .08 percent and exhibiting an imitation firearm in a threatening manner.

11:15 p.m. — A man from St. Andrews Court reported his son was running around, punching holes in the walls, and he tried to hit a woman. The man was taken to the hospital for evaluation.

Thursday

1:04 a.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Wheeler Acres Road reported a loud party.
