Monday

8:14 a.m. — A caller from NID reported the theft of a cell phone.

12:01 p.m. — A caller from the Memorial Park pool reported a fight that was becoming physical.

12:53 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Sutton Way reported a woman was outside yelling profanities at neighbors.

1:23 p.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Ridge Road reported a possible structure fire.

2:27 p.m. — A man from Neal and South School streets reported a white dog attacked a black Lab. The owner of the Lab initially said there was no attack, then called later to report a gash on her dog.

3:12 p.m. — A woman from the 300 block of Northstar Place reported she was bitten by two dogs. She did not need medical attention, they were Chihuahuas.

3:27 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 2000 block of Nevada City Highway reported a man swinging at a woman with kids in the car. He was arrested on suspicion of an outstanding warrant.

4:30 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 900 block of Sutton Way reported a man with no shoes had come in twice to ask for a Bible and was scaring customers.

4:46 p.m. — A caller from McKnight Way reported a driver of a GMC pickup was speeding and flashing lights and showing gang-type signs.

5:50 p.m. — A woman from a business in the 500 block of Sutton Way reported she asked a man to leave and he threw money at her. He was arrested on suspicion of battery.

6:12 p.m. — A man from South Auburn and Neal streets reported he saw two men exchange money and a clear plastic bag with powder. No drugs were found; a man had purchased an amplifier for a vehicle. One man was arrested on suspicion of an outstanding warrant.

9:09 p.m. — A park monitor at Condon Park reported he had received threats from people in the skate park.

10:36 p.m. — A man from the 100 block of Doris Drive complained of a loud party. He called back at 12:24 a.m. to report they were being loud again, but then they quieted down.

8:06 a.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Slate Creek Road reported a neighbor drove a tractor onto the caller's property and cut down numerous trees. The two parties were involved in a dispute over fire clearing; the situation was mediated.

9:03 a.m. — A woman from the 14000 block of Indian Springs Road reported her neighbor “nicked” her vehicle.

10:40 a.m. — A caller from Annie Drive reported four juveniles playing basketball on the roof of Alta Sierra School.

12:38 p.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Idaho-Maryland Road reported petty theft.

12:45 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Ragan Way reported a landscaper took checks and altered them before cashing them.

3:56 p.m. — A man from the 17000 block of Lake Forest Drive reported vandalism to a windshield last night. Some type of incendiary device had been placed on his porch Friday night. He requested extra patrols.

6:56 p.m. — A caller from the 23000 block of Oakmont Way reported two DVD players were stolen from a residence within the last two days.

8:52 p.m. — A caller from the 24000 block of Highway 49 reported hearing multiple shots fired.

9:10 p.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of Magnolia Road reported a burglary.

Tuesday

1:24 a.m. — A caller from Highway 49 reported a tanker truck was hit three times by paint balls while driving near Alta Sierra.

7:04 a.m. — A woman from the 10000 block of Yukon Way reported being locked out of her residence. She needed assistance getting in because there was food on the stove.

Monday

10:16 a.m. — A caller from a business in the 100 block of Sacramento Street reported tables and computers were taken sometime over the weekend. Lt. Lorin Gage said outdoor umbrellas, chairs and a table were taken, as well as a computer and monitor belonging to the director of a job training program, from an upstairs office. The loss was estimated at about $1,000.
