Local divers Aaron Carver and Grady Navo, who attend Nevada Union, placed 7th and 11th respectively in the State AAU high school diving championships in Tulare, Calif.
Carver is currently a junior at NU and Navo is a freshman. Carver’s best dive was his back one and one half somersault with one and one half twists. Grady scored best on his forward double somersault.
Both divers plan to dive this summer with Da Vinci Diving at the NU pool along with a number of other divers ranging in ages 9 to 17.
