The non-profit South Yuba River Citizens League (SYRCL), the largest single river membership-based environmental organization in the West, announces their largest fundraising event for the year showcasing items from each part of the watershed from Donner Summit to the San Francisco Bay Area.
One of Nevada Countys largest auctions, SYRCLs event is a full evening that includes a silent and live auction, food, beverages, and live entertainment.
Monies raised from this annual event help fund the on-going protection and preservation of the Yuba River Watershed in Northern California.
The huge auction includes over 500 unique items ranging from personal and business services and products, exotic and extravagant trips, local hand-crafted jewelry, artwork and photography. As well as a two night stay at the world famous Hans Florine home in Yosemite; Seven nights at a three bedroom, three bath (plus loft) home in Incline Village at Lake Tahoe; An afternoon tour of San Francisco with hiking at Lands End and dinner for two at the Beach Chalet; A retreat to the south fork of the Yuba River for four days and three nights in a house that sleeps 10; Seven nights accommodations for up to six people in Magical Mazatlan; A sailboat cruise in the Sea of Cortez, Mexico for two people for up to seven nights including food and drink; Hot springs getaways; fine wine; gift certificates for local stores and restaurants and much more!
Businesses and individuals from all over the Greater Yuba Watershed donate over $60,000 worth of merchandise and services to SYRCLs auction.
Bidding begins at 6 p.m. with a silent auction. Live auction starts at 8 p.m., with live entertainment starting at 9 p.m.
Guests can enjoy delicious, free hors doeuvres and desserts provided by Jim Es Catering/Club 141 and In the Kitchen by Hilary Dart. Wine and beer will be available for purchase.
Preferred parking at Miners Foundry for hybrid and electric vehicle drivers on a first-come, first-served basis, space permitting.
