Broad love of lit
Children in kindergarten through second grade at Nevada City schools in their yearly litarary parade on Broad Street downtown Friday.
Students from Gold Run and Nevada City Elementary schools marched down Broad Street Friday in the annual Storybook Parade, dressed as their literary favorite characters.
More than 400 students participated in the event Friday morning, which organizers hope instills an early love of reading.
