So, residents don’t like truck noise?!
I find it ironic that so many people are upset about the truck noise caused by the current detour. What we currently have is a sample of what our town will be like if the Idaho-Maryland Mine re-opens.
The mine plans to operate 24 hours a day with continuous truck traffic. I think we all value the quiet we enjoy living here. I think this detour should serve as a wake-up call to protect the serenity of our town.
