The Peace Center Film Forum presents the documentary Flow: For Love of Water, on Monday.
From both local and global perspectives, this documentary examines the causes and consequences of the mounting water crisis. It shows how politics, pollution and human rights are intertwined in this important issue that affects every being on Earth.
With water drying up around the world and the future of human lives at stake, the film urges a call to arms before more of our most precious natural resource evaporates.
Directed by Irena Salina (2008).
The showing starts at 7:30 p.m., Monday, April 13, with facilitated discussion to follow. Refreshments will be available.
Its at the Nevada County Peace Center, 316 W. Main St., Grass Valley (next to the Center for the Arts). A $5 donation is suggested, with all proceeds going to the Peace Center.
