Democracy Now! host Amy Goodman and her brother, investigative journalist David Goodman, will speak at 7 p.m. Friday, April 17, at the Grass Valley Veterans Hall in a fundraising benefit for KVMR community radio.

Amy and David Goodman look at who wields the greatest power in America ordinary citizens who take a chance and stand up for what they believe in.
The Goodmans hope that the examples they share in their talk and in their book, "Standing Up to the Madness" (now available in paperback), will inspire ordinary people to become active in preserving their countrys values.
As they explain in their introduction, great change begins with small steps taken at home.
