Ted F. Jordan, a retired building inspector with Solano County, died on March 9 at the age of 78.

No services are planned.

Born in Tolleson, Ariz., and educated in Stockton, Mr. Jordan graduated from the University of the Pacific and served in the U.S. Air Force.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, D.J.; son, Chris; daughter-in-law, Nancy and grandson, Mason.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of the Foothills, 11270 Rough and Ready Hwy., Grass Valley, CA 95945.

Arrangements are under direction of Chapel of the Angels Mortuary in Grass Valley.
