A Marysville man sustained only minor injuries and was arrested on several charges after overturning his pickup truck Tuesday night.
Jesse Thayer Smith, 31, was driving a 1988 Toyota pickup on Hilltop Road east of Indian Springs Road when he made an unsafe turn and lost control, CHP spokesman Rich Nickell said. The truck overturned, blocking the road.
Smith was taken to Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital for minor injuries, Nickell said. He was arrested at the hospital on suspicion of driving under the influence, and possessing marijuana and a concealed knife.
