The cat room at the Grass Valley Animal Shelter (near Les Schwab Tires) is full of beautiful cats, waiting for loving homes. If you have room in your heart and household for a great cat, please come and visit and adopt.
We also have some nice dogs and some have been here for a while. They are tired of kennel life and anxious to have a home.
Animal friends are asking us what they can donate for the animals. We can use dry cat food, such as Meow Mix or Purina Cat Chow, as the cats tolerate it well without stomach upset. We also appreciate dry Pedigree small bites or small kibble, as this is what we feed the dogs. They dont eat the large chunk food very well.
We would also like to thank all of you who have been so kind with your donations of Frontline, pet formulas, wormer, clay cat litter, collars, and food. We also appreciate the clean towels and washcloths. Thanks to Carrie, for beautiful, handmade kitty quilts and Robin for all that you do.
Please spay or neuter your pets, put a collar with ID on them and bring them inside before dark.
