12:45 p.m. - A woman from the 200 block of Scotia Pines Circle reported she was being harassed by a man claiming to be from a delivery company who keeps requesting money. The woman is a caregiver for another woman. When police contacted the man from the delivery company, he said the caller's client had won something, but would not disclose what. Police told him to stop calling.
1:15 p.m. - A large drain cover was reported missing from the 100 block of Mill Street. The cover was replaced.
3:22 p.m. - A man was arrested on South Auburn Street on an outstanding warrant and booked into the Nevada County jail.
4:43 p.m. - A man from the 200 block of Dorsey Drive said his neighbor has been harassing him and it's an ongoing civil issue. He was advised of the restraining order process.
5:16 p.m. - A person in a motor home on Sutton Way was advised of the city's no camping ordinance.
6:18 p.m. - Police tried to serve a warrant on a man. Though the man's name was the same as the man set to be arrested, police checked his identification and found he was not the same man.

12:46 a.m. - A woman was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol on West Berryhill Drive. She was booked into jail and her car was towed. In the morning, she came to the police lobby saying she had been told her car would not be towed. A dispatcher helped her resolve the situation.
2:16 a.m. - An officer gave a youth a ride home from the corner of East Main Street and Idaho-Maryland Road.
7:53 a.m. - A pontoon boat about 30 feet long on a trailer was found on Ocean Avenue and Pine. It could not be towed because a car was in the way. The owner of the boat was found and told to move it.
10:13 a.m. - A man asked for a welfare check on his 81-year-old father on the 700 block of Doris Drive after finding the telephone busy for 24 hours. Police found the man well, and he would contact his son.

10:10 a.m. - A man from the 12000 block of Mooney Flat Road reported he had a party on his property the day before, and when he returned today, a keg pump had been stolen. He asked for a log entry.
12:59 p.m. - A person reported someone being admitted to the hospital had been assaulted on Gracie Road earlier in the day.
2:35 p.m. - A motorist was cited for driving with an expired registration and other charges on West McKnight Way.
4:46 - A caller from the Squirrel Creek area reported multiple four-wheel vehicles going possibly toward Deadman's Flat. Officers advised the four-wheel drivers to move along, as the land is private property.
7:19 p.m. - A woman on the 10000 block of Manzanita Drive said she was assaulted by her boyfriend and injured. A 21-year-old Grass Valley man was arrested and booked into jail on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a cohabitant, with bail set at $25,000.

7:58 a.m. - A caller from the 10000 block of Sycamore Court reported vandalism to a garden statue. An officer found there was no damage, but extra patrol was requested.

5:23 p.m. - Five youths were causing a fight in front of a business on the 200 block of Broad Street. Officers admonished them not to return to the business.
10:23 p.m. - A 49-year-old Nevada City man was arrested on the Broad Street onramp onto Highway 49 and booked into jail on suspicion of drunken driving.
