My husband and I were promised a deal if we bundled our cable, home phone service, and high speed Internet. Now we have the cable that we've package that we've always had for four years, digital home phone service, but no high speed Internet.
My husband and I are both in wheelchairs and I am also legally blind. We are very limited in what we are able to do, in the way of manual labor, moving furniture and such. We have been given the run around for so long and repeatedly lied to. We were even assured that we would be provided a 30 foot ethernet cord; but we weren't and ended up having to spend $35 on the cord and we also had to buy the needed equipment to nail it along the baseboard of our apartment. Now they are telling us that our address in unserviceable. If that is the case we should've been told sooner so we didn't shell out money we can't afford. If we cannot have high speed Internet, we need physical help to put things back the way it was and our old modem installed so that we can sign up for the service which we used to have before.
I honestly do not feel like they were or are being fair. We cannot even get a phone number for the local office.
