The Nevada County Fencing Club has added a Wednesday evening Open Fence night for fencers with previous experience.

Held in the main auditorium of the Grass Valley Veteran’s Building from 6:45-8:15 p.m. weekly, the open fencing time allows students to build on their skills learned in the regular Monday evening classes.

Equipment is provided if needed, however, formal fencing instruction will not be offered during the Wednesday sessions.

“We had so many of our students asking for another night to practice what they had learned, that we finally had to do something,” says club director Dr. Robert Woodhall, DC.

Cost is $7 per night. Reservations are not necessary. Observers are always welcome. For more information, call Woodhall at 432-1750.
