Open letter to the community from the roamin angels

On Saturday, Sept. 20, at approximately 10:45 p.m., thieves stole the Roamin Angels Raffle engine and custom-built trailer from the home of one of the club members.

People of Nevada County and all the nonprofit organizations plus future scholarship recipients, they stole from you.

We need your help in trying to locate it.

Our club insurance does not cover this loss.

All leads and information about the theft will be held in confidentiality.

Although the engine is a major loss financially, it can be replaced; the loss of the trailer is more disastrous. It was custom built by members just to display the engine.

Years of time and money had been invested in it to make it an attractive and efficient way to transport and display the engine when selling tickets. Now the club will have to purchase a new engine to use for ticket sales for their scholarship program, and will have to construct a new trailer.

The time it will take will hurt ticket sales revenue while the cost of the trailer construction will take away from contri- butions to the community and its scholarship fund.

Please support us by helping us locate the engine and trailer.

The trailer was painted orange, with chrome wheels, and the engine was black.

Please support us by helping us to locate the engine and trailer.
