Tony Taylor, a junior with the Bruins, spent a few minutes after a 3-0 win over Forest Lake Christian Wednesday to field five questions from Sports Editor Brian Hamilton.

So what do you think of your team's performance today?

"I liked how (coach) Dave (Molina) ran our set-up. It makes it so we're stringing passes together really well. It just went really well against a team (FLC) that's ranked high in their league."

What are the expectations, or goals, for this team?

"I think we, at least, are going to the playoffs. I don't want to be too cocky, but I know we'll go to the playoffs. I know some of the team members of our opponents - and I know they're going to be tough - but we're doing well so far."

Offense or defense, which is this team's strength?

"I think all around, we have a strong defense. And I think a good aspect of this team is that we're all friends. We all like to give each other the glory. It's not a selfish act."

How did you get your start in soccer?

"When I was five years old, I started with rec play and then went onto Metro (in Grass Valley) and then eventually comp (club) with Placer United."

Even though you're a junior, have you set any plans for beyond high school?

"I'm really into soccer. I'm going to try to go for a soccer scholarship. I also want to be a physical therapist. That's one thing I'm thinking about right now, one of the goals I've set currently."
