A fundraiser for the Del Oro mural project will be held on Sept. 19 in Grass Valley.
Theater owners Mike and Barbara Getz will be showing “Bottle Shock” at the historic cinema at 7 p.m. that day. Lucchesi Vineyards and Winery are co-sponsoring the event and will provide wine tasting. Admission is $15.
The mural is halfway finished and is being produced by Truckee artist John Pugh. The mural will be bonded to the Del Oro when it is done. The project is still in need of $15,000 to be complete.
