5 things to do today: Rodeo to garden tour

1. Soroptimist International 15th Annual Garden Tour. Soroptimist International of the Sierra Foothills presents their 15th annual tour of private gardens in Grass Valley and Nevada City.
Proceeds will benefit community service projects. $20 in advance, $22 at the gar­dens. From 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. For tickets and information, call 477-8013 or visit sierra­soroptimist.

2. Penn Valley Rodeo. Starts with breakfast at the old firehouse at 7:30 a.m., followed a little later at 9 by events carried over from the previous day and the rodeo itself at 1 p.m. $15 at the gate; $5 children under 12. 3. Twin Cities Concert. Twin Cities Concert Association presents Orchestre Panache with Ken Hardin, conductor, featuring the Sierra College Nevada County Campus Chorale.

4. An Anna Bolivian Bag Sale. A ben efit for Save The Window of the Historic Preservation Committee.

5. UNZIP Art and film contest. Festival from 1 - 6 p.m. at the Miners Foundry will showcase art and films and will include music, food and a raffle.
