Print Comment
Nevada Union senior Chase Dixon and junior Cole Stanford will compete in next week's Sac-Joaquin Section Track & Field Masters meet.

Dixon qualified in three events, including the 300 hurdles race he won in record time. For the third straight week, Dixon set a new meet mark in the 300 hurdles. Two weeks ago, he broke the record in the Nevada Union Invitational. Last week, he set a new Sierra Foothill League mark.

And Friday, he ran a time of 38.62 seconds for Division II meet record.

Dixon also took third place in the 110 hurdles (15.05) and fourth in the 100 meters (11.15) to qualify in each of those events, as well.

Stanford took fourth place in the triple jump, leaping 43 feet, 9 inches, to also qualify for next week's action at Hughes Stadium at Sacramento City College.
