Grass Valley Police Department



Wednesday

4:05 p.m. - Officers arrested a 28-year-old man on the 700 block of Butler Street on suspicion of possessing narcotic paraphernalia, being under the influence of narcotics and on a local warrant, and they booked him into Wayne Brown Correctional Center. Officers also arrested a 19-year-old man on suspicion of possessing narcotic paraphernalia and being under the influence of narcotics, and they booked him into jail.

7:58 p.m. - A man from Sutton Way reported his tires were slashed in the parking lot of a business. Officers took a report for vandalism.

8:31 p.m. - Officers cited and released a 20-year-old man at the 300 block of Bennett Street on suspicion of driving with a suspended license.

Thursday

10:45 a.m. - A man from the 200 block of West Main Street reported his vehicle was vandalized the night before and something was put in his gas tank.

Wednesday

11:40 p.m. - Officers stopped a vehicle at the intersection of southbound Highway 49 and McKnight Way and arrested a 38-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Officers also arrested a 29-year-old man on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance without prescription and being under its influence. All three people were booked into Nevada County jail.

Wednesday

8:03 p.m. - A woman from the 200 block of Park Avenue reported a fight between she and her boyfriend. The woman said her boyfriend pushed her, and this was an ongoing problem. She said she has an 8-month-old infant at home.
