Meeting on toxic soil today

Print Comment
Neighbors concerned about the clean up of arsenic and lead at the future Sierra Terrace subdivision in Grass Valley can direct questions to a state representative tonight.

A meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Hollander Room of Grass Valley City Hall, 125 E. Main St.

A representative from the Department of Toxic Substances Control will give a brief presentation and answer questions.

The agency extended the comment period for the project to May 30 after several residents expressed concern that they were not properly notified.
