Jimmi Accardi & the Wildcats plan rock out at Miners Foundry in Nevada City on Friday to benefit Women of Worth (WOW).
A backup guitarist for such early hitmakers as The Classics, The Belmonts and the Regents, Accardi later toured as a guitarist for Chubby Checker, Rupert Holmes and Harry Nilsson. His latest releases-"Keep on Rockin'" and "Rock and Roll Party" - feature rock, jumpblues and rockabilly.
The evening, from 6:30 to 11:30, will include elegant hors d'oeuvres, door prizes, beer and wine and more than 70 silent auction items, including a beach house at Sea Ranch, crab or lobster dinner, art, jewelry and wine and cheese gift baskets.
