Nevada City Winery Annual Open House Celebrating 28 years of award winning winemaking in Nevada County.
Activities include a "Bottle Your Own Bottle" party in the winery barrel room. Barrel taste a 2006 Syrah and 2006 Cabernet Franc, and bottle, cork, foil and hand sign your label before applying it.
Other weekend activities include a remarkable Cabernet Franc wine tasting, hors d'oeuvres and live music.
There is no need to bring your own glass, but bring your friends to help you bottle. The event is complimentary with no reservations required.
The winery is located at 321 Spring St. in downtown Nevada City. Saturday hours of the open house are noon to 6 p.m. and Sunday, they are noon to 5 p.m.
