Gina Marie Rivers and Gregory Patrick Murphey, both of Davis, have announced their engagement.

The future bride is the daughter of Linda Rivers and the sister of Michelle Rivers, both of Roseville.

She graduated from Placer High School and from Sierra College.

She works as a Web site designer and yoga teacher.

The future groom is the son of Dan Murphey and Bonnie Hawthorne, both of Nevada City.

He graduated from Nevada Union High School and attended Sierra College.

He works at El Macero Country Club and his interests include computer art design.

The couple plan to marry May 18.
