Noted horseman to give

talk at Auburn ranch

Cowboy Peter Campbell will talk about horsemanship at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Shiloh Foundation Ranch in Auburn. Tickets cost $10 and all proceeds go to the Shiloh Foun- dation, a nonprofit that rescues horses rejected by owners. Tickets include a raffle. The Shiloh Foundation Ranch is at 7951 Wise Rd., Auburn. Spirit Center to hold

march and open house

In a call to erase the stigma placed on those suffering from mental illnesses, supporters will join a march starting at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at The Union building, 464 Sutton Way, Grass Valley. Spirit Center, a mental health drop-in center, is arranging the march and afterward is hosting its fifth annual open house from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 276 Gates Place, Grass Valley. Buddhist teacher to give

series of free lectures

Tibetan Bhuddist teacher Geshe Tsultrim Gyeltsen will offer a free lecture series this weekend at Saint Joseph's Cultural Center. The lectures are from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday; 10 a.m. to noon and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday; and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Saint Joseph's Cultural Center is at 410 S. Church St., Grass Valley.
