A homeless Colfax woman, our heroine, and the men, our heroes, recently saved a suicidal teenage woman. They protected Nevada and Placer counties against suicidal terror, and inspired us.
In my opinion, suicide is an act of love lost. An act both of denial, and hopelessness - anger against others inflicted on oneself - an escape both against severe physical, and emotional/mental anguish.
Believe in Jesus, but works speak louder than belief, not words. Love is free will, not toward our own happiness, but toward the happiness of others: "Love God," is an act; "love our neighbors," is an act. Our First Commandment is not to believe, but to love.
We are fortunate, not when our works communicate belief in Jesus, but love. Not all, but some of my works reflect the 10 Commandments.
Attempted suicide, and suicide, is prevented not by belief in Jesus, but by love. Please: Follow Jesus - his works are love.
