Frank Paul Kozusko died May 4 in Truckee. He was 86.

Mr. Kozusko was born Jan. 23, 1922, in North Bessemer, Pa., to John and Mary Kozusko. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, making six amphibious assault landings in the Pacific. He worked as an auto mechanic and repair service salesman. He enjoyed Texas Hold'em Poker, and he was proud of his jacket he received for winning a Harrah's club poker tournament.
Mr. Kozusko is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Frank Kozusko Jr. and Christine Kozusko of Hampton, Va.; daughter, Joanne Wilson of Concord and her children and grandchildren; granddaughters and husbands Michelle Kozusko Fuller and Kurt Fuller of Fredrick, Colo., and Teresa Kozusko Brown and Rufus Brown of Florence, S.C.; grandson and wife, Edward Kozusko and Anna Beth Kozusko of Midlothian, Va.; and six great-grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Suennen Kozusko.
