Nevada County’s Road Maintenance Division will be dust oiling on various county roads May 15, according to the Public Works Department.

Weather permitting, the oiling will occur on Tom Ray Road, Wolf Road, Alpha Toll Road, Maybert Road, Banner Mountain Trails, Cooper Road, Blue Tent School Road and Rock Creek Road.

Signs will be posted in the area saying “Fresh Oil” and a speed limit of 5 miles per hour will be in force. Drivers are urged to be cautious and to drive slowly in the oiled areas.
