A win for 'The Gutterguard' Show"

Print Comment
Last year we reported on "The Gutterguard Show," an independently produced 30-minute, magazine-style TV show created to educate homeowners in an entertaining way about gutter guards, for two reasons.

One was the Grass Valley connection (co-inventor and co-owner, Robert Lenney, has parents who lives here); the other reason was that the show starred some Auburn folks (the business itself is located in Rocklin).

Well, we must have suspected "The Gutterguard Show" was destined for bigger things, because it recently won the highly acclaimed Platinum Remi Award at the 41st WorldFest 2008 International Film Festival in Houston.

The main category win is in the "Instructional/How-To," along with awards in Directing, Cinematography and Use of Music.

Lenney and Lewis (the other half of the business) won five Remis, including four Gold Remi Awards for their production of the "Gutterglove Installation" DVD.

Needless to say, Lenney and Lewis are thrilled, and well they should be. WorldFest has a stellar reputation.

"We had a tremendous team of professionals from all over the area," says Lenney, " who put their heart and soul into making this high-quality TV program possible. This fantastic team deserves all the credit."

Should you want to see "The Gutterguard Show" for yourself at no charge, log on to www.gutterglove.com.

This is a limited time offer, says Lenney.

Check out www.worldfest.org for more about this film festival.
