The Sierra College Choir, Nevada County Campus, under the direction of Ken Hardin, is presenting two performances of their Spring Concert this weekend.

The same concert will be presented both evenings, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the Peace Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall. Tickets are $5 and will be available at the door.

"The Sierra College Choir has grown over the years to about 90 members," says Hardin. "We may have outgrown our rehearsal space, but the sound quality of this group will amaze you."

"We will be singing a wide variety of music, from a beautiful a cappella piece we'll perform in the round, to accompanied pieces by Billy Joel and the Beatles," says Mary Anne Davis, a long-time choir member. "Also some beautiful classical pieces, plus arrangements of Shenandoah, Danny Boy and more. I don't want to give all the surprises away." Special Guest Daniel Brooks will also perform a solo with the choir.

For more information, call Mary Anne Davis at 265-5089.
