NITA GREENHAW

Nita Eileen Greenhaw died May 5 in Grass Valley. She was 84.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, May 12, at Hooper and Weaver Mortuary in Nevada City. Rob Terrassa will officiate.

Mrs. Greenhaw was born Oct. 19, 1923, in Dinuba to Russell and Dora Hemphill. She attended Dinuba High School. She married Chester Darise Greenhaw on Jan. 29, 1940. She was a homemaker and enjoyed camping, sewing, crocheting, cooking and fishing.

Mrs. Greenhaw is survived by her daughters Marcha Acebo of Bellflower and Penny Chadwick of Grass Valley; son, Gil Greenhaw of Grass Valley; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Darise Greenhaw, and son, Chester Norman Greenhaw.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
