Paulette Rickard doesn't usually open Paulette's Kitchen for dinner, but Friday is a special occasion: She's holding a spaghetti feed to raise money for her Relay for Life team.

The dinner, including salad, garlic bread and homemade dessert, is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the restaurant at 875 Sutton Way, in Glenbrook Basin, and costs $10. All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society, Rickard said. The food all was donated, she added.

She and her 21 teammates also are raffling prizes donated by area business people, including a motorcycle helmet, hummingbird feeder and gift certificates to local restaurants and hair salons.
