LAUREL CLEMENTS

Laurel Lee Clements died May 2 in Chico. She was 74.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, May 12, at the Owl Tavern in Grass Valley.

Mrs. Clements was born Feb. 21, 1934, in San Francisco to Edgar and Grace Swinger. She married William Clements in February 1964 in Reno, Nev. She loved horses, cats, and family.

Mrs. Clements is survived by her son, Donald Clements; daughter, Kathleen McKnight; daughters-in-law Janine Clements and Lana Burris; grandchildren Joshua Clements, Rachel Clements, Melissa McKnight, Jeana McKnight and Billy McKnight; sister, Nora Johnson and brother, Tom Swinger. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Clements.

Flowers may be sent to the Owl Tavern.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
