Grass Valley Police Department



Thursday

10:05 a.m. - A caller from a business on Sutton Way reported a leaf blower, hedge trimmer and a weed eater were stolen from a trailer. Police took a report for burglary.



1:43 p.m. - A caller reported people were inside a dumpster in the Union Square parking lot on South Auburn Street. Police advised two people to move along.



2:32 p.m. - A caller reported juveniles were playing chicken with cars by purposely walking in front of traffic on Mill Street at Neal Street. Police were unable to locate the youths.



9:30 p.m. - A caller from the 100 block of East McKnight Way reported an SUV hit a gasoline pump and drove away. The gas leak was stopped. Police took a report.



Friday

8:51 a.m. - A caller from the 100 block of Mill Street reported graffiti was on the back of the building.

Thursday

8:33 a.m. - A woman called from the 13000 block of Ridge Road to report the possible theft of Christmas decorations. She said she saw some reindeer that looked like hers in her neighbor's backyard. A deputy determined the claim was unfounded.



8:49 a.m. - A caller from a business on the 11000 block of Squirrel Creek Road reported a man took travel-size containers of vodka. Another caller reported the man was darting in and out of bushes near a school. Deputies arrested the man on suspicion of theft.

9:25 a.m. - A man called from the 15000 block of Airport Road to report his vehicle window was shattered two nights before when the car was parked in his driveway.



1:25 p.m. - A caller from a business on the 13000 block of Grass Valley Avenue reported a computer was stolen and other employee-related issues. A deputy took a report.



1:37 p.m. - A caller from the 16000 block of Pasquale Road reported a trash can was stolen overnight.



3:57 p.m. - A girl from the 11000 block of Ridge Road reported that every time she is on a high school transfer bus, a female threatens her. She said the female threatens to kill her baby. A deputy took a report.



4:58 p.m. - A man from Lake Vera Purdon Road reported his ex-wife stole a jar of quarters.



9:09 p.m. - A caller from Alta Sierra Drive reported a girl was out of control. A deputy arrested the girl on suspicion of assault, violating probation and violating a restraining order.



10:24 p.m. - A deputy stopped a vehicle on Cypress Hill Drive at Arden Court and arrested a person on suspicion of drunken driving and on a warrant.

Thursday

10:15 a.m. - Police arrested a person on Broad Street at Pine Street on suspicion of disturbing the peace.



10:01 p.m. - A caller from a store on the 700 block of Zion Street said a shoplifter was being detained. An officer cited the person on suspicion of theft.
