Grass Valley Police Department



Wednesday

10:20 a.m. - A woman in the police station lobby was asking for a shower. An officer referred her to Hospitality House.



11:28 a.m. - A caller from McKnight Way reported medication was stolen. Police took a report.



2:40 p.m. - A caller from the 100 block of Conaway Avenue reported a car was burglarized.



2:58 p.m. - An officer took a report for a stolen dog on the 100 block of Dorsey Drive.



7:48 p.m. - A caller from a store on the 100 block of Neal Street reported a man with a tattoo on his neck just left without paying for a basket full of beer and groceries. The man got into a car with two other men. Police took a report for shoplifting.



9:04 p.m. - A woman reported road rage. She said she allowed someone to finish crossing the street at Idaho-Maryland Road at East Main Street, and two women in a black Ford extended cab truck followed her to Segesworth Way. The women yelled obscenities at the driver, and scared the driver's children. Police checked the area and were unable to locate the women in the truck.

Wednesday

8:56 a.m. - A woman reported her neighbor on the 12000 block of Polaris Drive was stealing water from her NID connection. A deputy took a report for malicious injury to a reservoir.



6:42 p.m. - A caller from a school on the 11000 block of Ridge Road reported a balding man with a dog was exposing himself in front of students. A deputy took a report and advised the man about trespassing.



8:33 p.m. - Deputies stopped a vehicle on Freeman Lane and arrested a person on suspicion of drunken driving, being under the influence of a controlled substance and driving on a suspended license.



8:57 p.m. - Officers with the sheriff's office and the probation department searched a residence on the 13000 block of Manion Canyon Road and arrested a person on suspicion of resisting arrest and violating probation. Another person was arrested on a warrant from out of the area.

10:58 p.m. - A caller reported a girl was supposed to ride the bus home from high school, but she never showed up. The girl's wallet was located with a man who was arrested today on suspicion of shoplifting at a store in Nevada City. Police were looking for the girl.

Wednesday

6:06 p.m. - A caller from a store on the 700 block of Zion Street reported a man was being detained for shoplifting. Police arrested the man on suspicion of shoplifting and possessing an alcoholic beverage by a person under 21.
