'Jazz at 808' season kicks off May 8, get your rodeo on in Penn Valley

May 8: Jimmy Robinson & Friends Kick Off 2008 "Jazz at 808" season, at 7 p.m. at The Arts Building at 808 Lincoln Way in downtown Auburn. Tickets for $15/$20 are available at PlacerArts online Box Office at www.PlacerArts.org, at The Arts Building, or by calling (530) 885-5670. Payment is accepted by cash, check, Visa or Mastercard.

May 16 & 17: "Puttin' On The Ritz" by Bear River High School Choral Music Department at the school's

Performing Arts Theatre, 11130 Magnolia Road, Grass Valley; 7 p.m. Admission is $8 general and $6 students.
