Kudos to the Union and 49er Rotary
On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Sierra Nevada Deep Ecology Institute, I want to thank The Union for their 23rd Annual Home and Garden Show with its emphasis on "green" sustainable products and services.
We also wish to thank The Union for hosting the 1st annual Green Awards Ceremony. More than 15 local businesses, nonprofits and individuals received recognition for their hard work on "going green." A special thanks to 49er Rotary Breakfast Club of Nevada City who generously donated toward the plagues and helped to make the awards ceremony possible. This was a wonderful example of the community coming together for the benefit of all.
