Spiritual cinema screens Friday

"Love Train," a hand-animated short film about a dragon in the prime of her life braving a winter landscape to find love, and the feature, "Tara Road," will be shown Friday, 7-9 p.m. at Center for Living Compassion, 194 Gold Flat Road (Jacobson Chiropractic complex) in Nevada City.

"Tara Road," from the acclaimed novel by Maeve Binchy, stars Andy MacDowell and Olivia Williams as two women who, running from their own lives, decide to switch homes without having ever met, only to find that through running away they somehow find themselves.
