Erica Johnston and Scott Glaser, both of Rocklin, have announced their engagement.

The future bride is the daughter of William and Kathy Johnston of Grass Valley and Cathy Hill of Tampa, Fla.

She is a 1995 graduate of Bear River High School and graduated from Humboldt State University with a degree in teaching. She is a sixth-grade teacher at the Maria Montessori Charter Academy in Rocklin.

The future groom is the son of Stanley and Sandra Glaser of Elk Grove.

He graduated from Elk Grove High School in 1992 and has worked in the Information Technology field for over 10 years. He currently works with the State of California, Department of Health Care Services, in Sacramento.

The couple plan to marry July 12.
