Locally made film about homeless veteran premieres

Filmmaker Paul Booth of Sacramento says his locally made movie, "Empty Streets," will premiere on the Web and television.

A 22-minute drama about veterans returning home, it won an achievement in film award at the 2007 Norcal Film Festival. The soundtrack includes Grammy Award winners Willie Nelson and Vishwa Mohan Bhatt and Grammy nominees Charlie Musselwhite and Jimbo Mathus.

See it on Sunday at 8 p.m. at www.wethemedia.tv or Monday at 10:30 p.m. on Nevada County Television channel 11 (Comcast).
