Grass Valley Police Department



Tuesday

3:43 p.m. - A caller from a market on Empire Street reported a woman wearing blue jeans and a sweater was drunk. Police arrested the woman on suspicion of public drunkenness and violating probation.

5:12 p.m. - A caller from Joerschke Drive at Maltman Drive reported a fight between a juvenile and his mother. The juvenile had a rock in his hand. The child's probation officer advised police should arrest him.

5:50 p.m. - A caller from Joerschke Drive reported the juvenile involved in the fight with his mother had returned. Police arrested the juvenile on suspicion of assault, and he was booked into juvenile hall.

7:01 p.m. - A caller from the 300 block of Sutton Way reported a man was in the bathroom for the previous 30 minutes, possibly doing drugs. Police arrested the 20-year-old man on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance and possessing drug paraphernalia.

7:42 p.m. - A caller reported two men in a white GMC Jimmy cut the caller off while driving on Highway 49 at Combie Road, and they possibly were drunk. The men then saw a woman hitchhiking in a long blue dress, quickly pulled over and picked her up. The caller was uncomfortable with the situation.

7:43 p.m. - A caller from the 100 block of Neal Street reported a non-injury accident. Police arrested a 40-year-old man on suspicion of drunken driving.



Wednesday

1:55 a.m. - A caller from a bar on the 100 block of West Main Street reported a man was in a fight and was trying to break down a door. He wasn't wearing a shirt and he had numerous tattoos. The man may have been leaving in a white Honda. Police arrested the 27-year-old man on suspicion of vandalism and assault.

Tuesday

10:45 a.m. - A woman called to report she was bitten by a dog on the 19000 block of Richmar Lane.

1:24 p.m. - A man called from the 16000 block of Ophir Silver Road to report a man ripped five of his trees out of the ground.

2:03 p.m. - A woman called to report she was assaulted on the 11000 block of Creek View Drive. A deputy took a report.

3:28 p.m. - A caller from the 10000 block of Lombardi Road reported vandalism and theft from an Airstream trailer, which possibly occurred over the weekend.

4:32 p.m. - A caller from the 13000 block of Dog Bar Road reported a stereo was stolen from a vehicle overnight. A deputy took a report.

5:37 p.m. - A caller from the 13000 block of Wheeler Acres Road reported the theft of a stereo from an unlocked vehicle.

6:41 p.m. - A woman called from the 18000 block of Biladeau Lane to report flip flops were missing from her porch and Vicodin was missing from her house.

7:02 p.m. - A man called from the 10000 block of Dixon Road to report a woman tore his shirt and punched him in the mouth. A deputy took a report for battery.

7:59 p.m. - A caller from a mobile home park on Little Valley Road reported juveniles were molesting a dog. Another caller reported a person was mooning the caller's juvenile. A deputy took a report for indecent exposure.



Wednesday

1:30 a.m. - A caller reported about 100 gallons of diesel fuel spilled on eastbound Interstate 80 west of Donner Park. Environmental health officials were advised.

1:57 a.m. - A man called from the 13000 block of Eagle Way to report narcotic medication was stolen from his residence, as well as a book of checks. The man would contact his bank in the morning.
